Welcome to Ed and Kathy Poole's Labrador Retriever Kennel, home of GMHR Poole's Shortgrass Porkchop. We have been raising and training Labs for almost 30 yrs. We feel that with research and experience , we have developed a Lab that is both a good companion dog, as well as an excellent field dog. In addition to training and using our dogs for hunting, we have also participated in field tests through NAHRA and are active with TPHRC. We also have hunt leases avaliable for Quail, Pheasant, Crane and Geese, in season. We also have a private hunting preserve stocked with quail, chukar and pheasant. Guide services and dogs are available on request. The Pooles offer a bed & breakfast opportunity for those visiting with them that need to stay overnight.
